We want this shop to be usable however you browse it.

What we aim for

We work toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That means the site should be operable by keyboard alone, legible at increased text sizes, usable with a screen reader, and readable at the contrast levels the standard sets.

Where we are

Honest answer: partway. The storefront is keyboard-operable and the navigation, cart and account flows carry accessible labels. A full audit against 2.2 AA has not yet been completed.

One example of what that audit is for: the mobile menu used to sit invisibly in the keyboard tab order at desktop sizes, so anyone tabbing through the header walked into a duplicate navigation they could not see. It was fixed in August 2026. We expect there are others, and we would rather say so than claim a compliance we have not verified.

Known gaps

  • No full third-party audit has been carried out.
  • Product imagery alt text is being improved as real photography replaces placeholders.
  • Some colour pairings in decorative areas have not been contrast-checked.
